I also offer a custom order service. I can work on a specific image for your drum or you can ask me
to intuit an "image energy" for you. I have done most painted drums in this way.
I sit with a photo of the person the drum is for.
Then I drum and ask spirit to guide me for the best image and energy for that person's drum.

The type of drums I use for painting on and playing are Remo Buffalo drums.
Over the years I have found them to be durable, light-weight with a fantastic deep and consistent sound.
The drumshell is made from 100% recycled wood fiber and the head is made from Fiberskin
which holds its sound in all weather conditions and climates
so that they can be played in rain and sweat lodges
unlike most animal skin head drums which sag and lose their sound in such conditions.

Here you can see the size of the 16 inch Remo drum.
It has a fantastic sound and can be played in all weather conditions.
It is a good versitile size and it can be brought on as hand luggage on planes if you travel a lot.
It is also light-weight and very easy to carry when hiking.

Here you can see the size of the 22 inch Remo drum.
Although a bit larger than the 16 inch it is still light to hold.
It has a rich deep sound that travels well which is good for large outdoor gatherings.
